West Flanders is one of Shawnee's most popular parks. You can find families enjoying the 0.5 mile walking trail during any part of the day. This park is 8.7 acres and includes the famous "castle" playground with a dragon! West Flanders also has two shelters and a swingset. The popular Rose Garden was remodeled in 2020 and is cared for by the Johnson County Master Gardeners as one of their demonstration gardens.
