Sponsorship Opportunities

CELEBRATE with Shawnee Parks and Recreation in 2020! You have an opportunity to partner with us to fulfill our mission statement: Creating opportunities for the community to explore, engage and connect. This is the heart and drive behind each event, program and relationship formed in Shawnee.

Why is 2020 a year to CELEBRATE?

The Shawnee Parks and Recreation Department works hard to host a variety of special events to benefit the children and families we serve. The Tour de Shawnee, Shawnee Great Grillers State Championship Barbeque and Holiday Treasures Craft Festival will be celebrating significant “birthdays” this year. These events have become staples to the Shawnee community and we look forward to carrying on the tradition.

We are very excited to announce NEW events coming to Shawnee, Walk and Read, April Showers Craft Festival, and a Youth Entrepreneurial event in the fall. We have more exciting events planned for 2020, so stay tuned!

How you can help CELEBRATE

We are proud to promote positive recreational experiences by providing events throughout Shawnee. However, we would not be able to do so without the financial and/or in-kind support of individuals and local businesses. Your support will provide the opportunity to not just promote your company with unique and affordable advertising, but also to invest in Shawnee Parks and Recreation and YOUR community.

We would love the opportunity to meet with you to discuss how we can help ensure YOUR marketing objectives are reached. If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities or would like to create a custom sponsorship, please call Matt Mann at 913.631.5200.

Thank you for your time, consideration, and interest in our community events. We sincerely hope you see the opportunity we provide, and the impact our events have in our community. Together, we can make a difference. We look forward to hearing from you and excited to CELEBRATE a partnership with you or your company.

Want to learn more about recognition and sponsorship opportunities for the 2020 park events and get your company the most visibility? Opportunities are listed below and sponsorship levels are adjusted based on each event.
