Stump

Stump Park is named after Charles J. Stump, Shawnee’s first full-time Chief of Police. Serving from 1964 to 1987, Chief Stump played a key role in modernizing the city’s law enforcement. His dedication to public safety and community service is honored through this park, which remains a popular soccer and baseball destination for residents and visitors alike. 

Stump Park features 59.7 acres of parkland. Stump Park is known for it's soccer (game only) and baseball fields. The park also includes a playground and walking trail.   • Dogs must be on leash and under owners control.
  • Skating prohibited on tables, benches, play equipment and in shelter areas.
  • Please utilized the recycling and trash receptacles.
