The City Clerk serves as the City’s official record custodian and the Freedom of Information Officer in compliance with the Kansas Open Records Act; maintains a permanent record of all proceedings; publishes required legal notices to ensure timely notification to the public; executes all ordinances, resolutions, contracts, etc.; and files, indexes and preserves the City’s legislative history.
Staff in the City Clerk’s Office are dedicated to delivering excellent customer service by providing general information to the public, working with residents and business owners.
