Tour de Shawnee

Help us celebrate 31 years of cycling fun on Sunday, May 2 at the Tour de Shawnee Bike Ride. Sponsored by the Shawnee Parks and Recreation Department. This event benefits the JDRF. Riders can choose from two family friendly routes: 5 mile or 12 mile, or a more challenging 27 mile route.

Staging begins at 6:30 a.m. and the ride will start at 7:00 a.m. Full price entry fee includes a T-shirt (if registered by April 15), rest stop snacks and drinks, medical assistance, SAG vehicle support, mobile bike repair and a post ride Chris Cakes Pancake To Go Box! The tour will start and end at The Shawnee Civic Centre, 13817 Johnson Drive.

All riders who wish to continue on to the 12-mile route must reach 61st and Rosehill by 8:15 a.m. All riders who wish to continue on to the 27-mile route must reach Midland and Maurer by 8:15 a.m.

E-Bike usage: Class 1 and 3 E-Bikes are allowed to participate in the Tour de Shawnee.

PRE-REGISTERED CHILDREN 10 AND UNDER: FREE (Free 10 and under registration does not include a t-shirt or pancake breakfast.)

Packet pick up will be available during the following dates and times:
  • Thursday, April 29 at the Shawnee Civic Centre from 8:00am-8:00pm.
  • Friday, April 30 at the Shawnee Civic Centre from 8:00am-5:00pm.
  • Please note: No ride-day packet pick-up is available this year. All packets must be picked up in advance.
