We wanted to let you know that our City buildings will be reopening with a few changes on Monday, May 11. Our highest priority is the safety of our community and our employees. We will have limited hours and staffing as we reopen. These will change as we follow guidance from the State of Kansas, Johnson County and the CDC and we will continue to provide updates with new information.

Facility Hours

  • Civic Centre: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Shawnee Town 1929: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. There will be no classes, rental or museum tours.
  • Fire Department Public Counter: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Police Department Public Counter: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

You will notice other changes throughout our buildings, including;

  • Clear plastic barrier added at public counters
  • Floor stickers identifying six-foot distances for people visiting facilities
  • Limited staffing at all facilities
