City Facilities

While many of our facilities have reopened, we strongly encourage you to call us at (913) 631-2500 or send us an e-mail so we can help you in the safest manner at this time.

Kansas Governor Laura Kelly issued a statewide order that takes effect on Friday, July 3, 2020 that requires people to wear masks. The City continues to follow County, State and Federal guidance and will also be requiring masks at all of our City facilities.

  • City Hall: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Civic Centre: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The building will remain open until 10:00 p.m. for pre-scheduled programs and rentals. Open gym and pickleball remain temporarily suspended.
  • Shawnee Town 1929: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. 
  • Fire Department Public Counter: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Police Department Public Counter: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Municipal Court Public Counter: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

You will notice other changes throughout our buildings, including;

  • Signs encouraging the use of face masks or face coverings
  • Hand sanitizer stations available throughout buildings
  • Clear plastic barrier added at public counters
  • Floor stickers identifying six-foot distances for people visiting facilities
  • Limited staffing at all facilities
