The City of Shawnee is kicking off their first ever Strategic Plan – Imagine Shawnee. This will be a guiding process for the City as we look at the future of our goals, wants, and needs.
As a part of this process, we are looking for community engagement and feedback. We would like to invite Shawnee residents ages 55 and older to take part in a focus group that we are holding on Thursday, August 22 from 3pm-4pm at Old Shawnee Pizza. This focus group is specifically for Shawnee residents ages 55 and older.
This focus group will last approximately an hour and will provide an opportunity for you to discuss all aspects of Shawnee – development, infrastructure, parks and recreation, and more.
Your views will be reported to the Imagine Shawnee Steering Committee and the City Council to help make the guiding recommendations for the future of vision of Shawnee.
