Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome and thank you for your interest in volunteering with the City of Shawnee. The City relies on the willingness of volunteers to help serve residents and visitors to help improve our community.

If you are interested in applying to become an on-going volunteer for the City, regardless of the project, please complete the Volunteer Online Application or contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Elizabeth Griffith, at 742-6244.

Periodically, we shine a spotlight on one of our outstanding volunteers. Check out our current Volunteer Spotlight for a personal perspective as to why they volunteer as well as the tremendous value they provide to our City departments.

The City of Shawnee uses Volgistics Volunteer Software which allows our volunteers to track hours as well as check opportunities and schedules. Click the link to log into our Volunteer Portal.
